Press ctrl+F9 to open gradient options. Apply a gradient in radial mode using colors shown below.

w_02

Now create another circle and fill none and stroke value 0.5.

w_03

Create three more copies with slightly reduced radius each so as to create concentric circles as shown in the shot below.

w_04

Draw a side glare highlight as shown below using pen tool.

w_05

Goto>effect>blur>gaussian blur and apply settings as shown.

w_06

w_07

Create a duplicate of this highlight glare and paste. Rotate and place on the other side of the clock as shown.

w_08

Create another circle on top of all the circles.

w_09

Apply gradient using following settings. Also change transparency mode as shown below.

w_10

Create a circle. Using "vertical type area type tool" click on this circle and type"." (dots / full stop) several times as shown below to create a pattern of dots.

w_11

Place the object below the green gradient circle. For this right click the dots shape. Click Arrange>>Send Backwards.

w_12

Create a duplicate of the first circle with silver gradient. Move it to top of all objects by right click and selecting Arrange>>Bring to front. Change its transparency mode to Multiply.

w_13

w_14

Create a shape as shown below using pen tool. Apply gradient using settings shown.

w_15

Redue opacity to 13%.
w_16

Right click the shape. Select Transform>>Reflect. Select flip horizontal in the reflect window. Place the shapes as shown below.

w_17

Create a circle as shown below.

w_18

Goto >> Effect >> distort & transform >> pucker & bloat and apply settings as shown.

w_19

w_20

w_21

Using pen tool create hour, minute and second hands of the clock.

w_22

Add four tiny rectangles on 12, 3, 6 and 9.

w_23

Take a circle with fill none and stroke 10.
